Bandipora: Hajin police on Wednesday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 5kg and 800 grams of bhang powder from his possession.
Acting on a specific information police party of Police station Hajin led by SHO PS-Hajin during naka checking at Baharabad Hajin noticed suspicious movement of a pedestrian carrying a nylon bag,on search of his bag, bhang powder weighing 5kgs of Bhang powder and 800 grams of charas powder was recovered.The accused person has been identified as Jamsheed Ahmad Wagay son of Gh Mohd Wagay a resident of Hakabara Hajin.
In this regard Case FIR No. 15/2026 under different sections of NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Hajin and further investigation taken up.
