Ganderbal: The Srinagar-Leh Highway was on Friday due to heavy snowfall at Zojila pass, leaving number of trucks and light passenger vehicles stranded.
According to official sources, the 434-km long highway was closed for traffic after fresh snow caused slippery conditions.
Border Roads organization (BRO) has already been pressed into service to clear the road he said.
Consequently, number of vehicles, mostly trucks and carrying passengers are stranded on both sides of the Zojila pass.
