BARAMULLA: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), North Kashmir, Maqsood-ul-Zaman, (IPS) on Wednesday urged people, particularly the youth, to stay away from drugs and choose a healthy and responsible lifestyle.
In a post on X, the DIG shared an anti-drug awareness message titled “Break Free, Live Strong”, stressing that every choice matters and calling upon society to reject substance abuse.
The police official said collective efforts from families, communities and institutions are essential to curb the growing menace of drug abuse and build a drug-free society in the region.
