NEW DELHI — In a significant move to bridge the gap between modern sports and traditional values, the Sanatan Cricket Club LLP has announced the launch of the Bharat Sanatan Premier League (SPL). Scheduled to take place in Indore from March 13 to March 15, 2026, this three-day national-level T10 tournament aims to foster discipline, patriotism, and social responsibility among India’s youth.

Under the spiritual guidance of Chief Patron Pandit Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj, the league features eight teams named after iconic national heroes, including the Chhatrapati Shivaji Warriors and Rani Lakshmibai Strikers. Representing states like Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Punjab, these teams are designed to inspire players through the legacies of India’s great warriors.

Tournament Highlights:

Format: 15 day-night matches in a fast-paced T10 format.

Trials: Commencing February 2, 2026, across eight cities, including Kolkata, Noida, and Jaipur.

Prizes: A total purse of ₹31 lakh for the champions and ₹15 lakh for runners-up; the ‘Man of the Series’ will be awarded a car.

Beyond the cricket pitch, the SPL serves a higher social purpose. Organizers confirmed that all funds raised will be dedicated to social welfare, supporting disaster relief, acid attack survivors, and underprivileged education. By aligning with the Fit India and Khelo India campaigns, the SPL seeks to steer youth away from harmful habits toward a lifestyle rooted in ethics and physical fitness.
