Apni Party leaders pay condolences to two families in Lasjan & Malangam

Express solidarity with bereaved families, pray for departed souls

SRINAGAR: Apni Party leaders on Monday visited Malangam in Bandipora and Lasjan in Srinagar to offer condolences to two bereaved families. The delegations, comprising senior party leaders, expressed their sympathy with both bereaved families.

According to a press release issued here, an Apni Party delegation visited Lasjan to meet the bereaved family of former IAS officer G.M. Thakur. The delegation was led by the party’s Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, and included PAC Chairman Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Media Panelist and District President Budgam Adv. Owais Ashraf Shah, and others. The members of the delegation extended their condolences to the family and said they stood in solidarity with them during this hour of grief. On the occasion, they also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

Meanwhile, on the directions of the party’s President, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Apni Party delegation led by the party’s Media Advisor, Farooq Andrabi, visited Malangam in Bandipora to extend condolences to party colleague Shafat Kazmi on the passing of his grandfather, Syed Yaqoob Shah Kazmi, son of the revered Sufi saint Nanga Baji Sahib. Party’s Media Advisor was accompanied by the party’s District President Baramulla, Shabir Ahmad Shah; District President Ganderbal, Javaid Ahmad Mir; Constituency Incharge Sonawari, Imtiyaz Parray; District Vice President Srinagar and Constituency Incharge Central Shalteng, Zaffar Habib Dar; and others.
