Srinagar: Government forces on Thursday launched a Cordon and search operation in Putrigam village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that forces launched search operation after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that heavy forces have been deployed in the area.
Search operation was going on when reports last came in.
Earlier massive search operation was launched in over dozen villages of Shopian and Kulgam district, that ended peacefully.
