Pays tributes to matchless greatness of Shah Haider, Hazrat Ali al-Murtaza (AS)
SRINAGAR: The unparalleled greatness and countless blessings of Haider-e-Karrar, Hazrat Ali al-Murtaza (AS), continue to inspire every member of the Muslim Ummah today, imparting new vitality and hope. His sacred personality remains a source of glad tidings not only for Muslims worldwide but for all humanity. Even in times of darkness, remembrance of Ali, his grandeur, and his seerah dispel despair and bring illumination.
The legacy of Hazrat Ali, the Gate of Knowledge and Service to Humanity established by the Master of the Universe, endures to this day. The oceans of generosity within the Bahr-e-Haideri still surge, symbolizing his boundless benevolence.
These sentiments were expressed on the blessed day of Jumu‘ah at the Central Jamia Masjid, Soibugh Budgam, by Patron Karwani Islami International, Allama Dr. Ghulam Rasool Hami, during a gathering attended by thousands. He emphasized that alongside love for Hazrat Ali, it is imperative to act upon his teachings.
Allama Hami stated that Mawla-e-Kainat, Hazrat Ali al-Murtaza (AS), will be remembered until the Day of Judgement for his bravery, justice, courage, and lofty spiritual stature. He dedicated his blessed life to the supremacy of Islam, thereby strengthening and ennobling both the faith and its followers.
Describing Hazrat Ali’s grandeur is no simple task, for his entire household is imbued with divine light. His noble wife, Sayyidatun-Nisa Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her), and his pure offspring, Imam Hasan and Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them), are revered for their virtues, which fill the pages of Hadith and Seerah.
Allama Hami cautioned that loving Hazrat Ali is not enough; acting upon his teachings is essential. True lovers must embody his virtues and reject false individuals, misleading ideologies, and corrupt practices. In the current age, this includes a conscious disassociation from social evils such as drugs, which aligns with his teachings.
He stressed that spreading the teachings of Sayyiduna Ali al-Murtaza and promoting spiritual values are crucial to counter the evils of our times, particularly drug abuse. Allama Hami urged the public to harness the spiritual inheritance bestowed by the Awliya Allah and Sufiya-e-Kiram, safeguarding themselves and their families from the corrupting influences of this turbulent era.
