Srinagar: Protests broke out on Srinagar-Gulmarg road in north Kashmir’s Kunzar Tangmarg area on Thursday after a boy went missing from his home.
Showkat Ahmad, a 10th standard student, left home in Turke-Batpora village on Wednesday afternoon to get a medical checkup. “He didn’t get home,” said a protester.
His family and locals searched him everywhere, but couldn’t trace him, he said.
The protesters blocked the Srinagar-Gulmarg road to demand the whereabouts of the missing boy.
Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
