New Delhi: In the wake of a devastating explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi that claimed at least 13 lives and injured 24 others, security agencies across several states in northern and western India have been placed on high alert.

Similarly, Rajasthan’s police chief Rajiv Sharma directed all Range Inspector Generals, District Superintendents, and sensitive police stations to remain vigilant. Security has been increased in border districts and other sensitive zones, with thorough vehicle checks and increased patrolling.
At the Indo-Nepal border, additional security has been deployed by the Border Security Force (BSF) along with local police. Authorities are closely monitoring all visitors crossing the open border, fearing potential infiltration or additional threats.
The Delhi blast has prompted a major security review across the region, with agencies emphasizing vigilance to prevent any further incidents. The investigation into the explosion continues, and authorities are urging the public to remain alert and report any suspicious activity.
