Srinagar: Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat (IPS) along with Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir Zone, V. K. Birdhi (IPS), visited Anantnag and Kulgam districts on Saturday to review ongoing counter-militancy operations.
The officials assessed efforts to dismantle the militant ecosystem in the region and ensure enhanced security measures are in place, a police spokesperson said in a statement issued here.
