Dir School Education, Principal GHSS Amira Kadal extend best wishes to 12th class student
SRINAGAR: A promising young student from GHSS Amira Kadal, Waailah Muzamil, saw her heartfelt efforts come to life today as her debut book, “The Reflections of Our Soul”, was officially released in a special ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Director General of School Education Department, Dr GN Itoo, who inaugurated the book release.
Along with Dr Itoo, the occasion was attended by the Joint Director of School Education, the CEO Srinagar, and the Principal of Amira Kadal School, Nusrat Manzoor, who all extended their best wishes and encouragement to the young author.
Waailah, currently a student of 12th class, shared her inspiring journey behind the book. “It’s often said that ‘paper has more patience than people’, which I used to believe until I lived it. I’ve always struggled to express myself verbally, but writing became my refuge. What started as a habit turned into a passion — poetry and reflections that I could never put into words aloud but could translate onto paper,” she remarked.She added, “My book is a reflection of my own soul — a collection of thoughts, feelings, and emotions that I hope others will relate to, feel seen, and find themselves within these reflections.”Expressing her gratitude, Waailah thanked the Director General of Education, JKAS, Kashmir, for gracing the occasion and releasing her book. She also appreciated her principal, Ms Nusrat Manzoor, for her unwavering support, as well as her mother and family for their encouragement.The event marked a significant milestone in the young author’s journey, inspiring other students to pursue their passions and express themselves through creativity and art.
