Anantnag: A body has been recovered in the Ahlan Gadole forest area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Thursday.
An official said that the body was spotted by search teams during an ongoing search and rescue operation in the dense forests.
“The identity of the deceased and the cause of death are yet to be ascertained,” he said.
He said the body has been taken into possession for medico-legal formalities, while further investigation has been initiated.
