PAMPORE, PULWAMA: A flag hoisting ceremony was held today at the Court Complex in Pampore to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of the nation. The event, filled with patriotic fervor, brought together members of the legal and law enforcement communities to honor India’s freedom fighters and reaffirm their commitment to the country’s constitutional values.
The ceremony commenced with Ms. Uzma Amin, Chairperson of the Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Pampore, unfurling the National Flag. The unfurling was followed by the singing of the national anthem, a poignant moment of unity and respect.
Attendees included Noveed Sarwar Khan, Assistant Public Prosecutor(APP), along with the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) and Mr Khalid Fayaz, Station House Officer (SHO) from Police Station Pampore. The gathering also included court staff, advocates, and members of the local community.
In her address, Ms. Uzma Amin highlighted the importance of upholding the principles of justice, liberty, and equality that are the cornerstones of the Indian Constitution.
