Forces on Saturday launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Amirabad village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, reports said.
Witnesses said that operation was jointly launched by army’s 42 RR, 180 BN CRPF and SOG of J and K Police.
They said that the village was cordoned off after “specific” inputs about the presence of militants there. The search operation is on and further details are awaited.
