A famous stunt biker from Shopian passed away after his motorcycle collided with police vehicle near Kanipora in Shopian district of Southern Kashmir.
The biker identified as Qasim Ahmed Mir alias Raju aged 22, suffered severe injuries in the accident after which he was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Raju however succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, sources told Kashmir Vision.
Police has registered a case vide FIR No 253/2017 in police station Shopian.
Police official said that the driver has been taken into custody and vehicle has been seized and further investigation is going on.
