JAMMU: Subash Chander Pandey, Principal Accountant General (PAG), J&K, called on Governor NN Vohra here at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday and explained the salient features of the J&K’s Audit Report for the Financial Year 2013-14, an official statement said.
Pandey also briefed the governor about the mechanisms which had been put in place for promoting excellence in the J&K public sector through the functioning of the Audit and Accounting Services, speedy settlement of pension cases and other activities.
The governor discussed with Pandey the need for the highest priority being devoted towards the maintenance of financial probity and fiscal discipline in the government departments and complete transparency in personnel management at all levels.
