HAJIN: A grand literary function was held at Town Hall, Hajin on Sunday, where noted writer and theatrist Nazir Javid’s new book “Laaiw Armaan” was formally released.
The event was organised by Wahab Cultural Society in collaboration with Halqa Adab Hajin, under the patronage of Adabi Markaz Kamraz (AMK).
The function was chaired by AMK President Mohammad Amin Bhat and attended by several prominent literary figures, including Professor Shad Ramzan, Imtiyaz Parray, Chief Patron of Wahab Cultural Society Hajin Nazir Javid, Shakir Shafi, Reyaz-ul-Hassan, Majeed Majazi, Mir Bashir Ahmad, and others.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the literary significance of Laaiw Armaan and appreciated Nazir Javid’s contribution to Kashmiri literature. They said the book reflects deep emotions and showcases the author’s distinctive style.
Mohammad Amin Bhat praised the efforts of local literary organisations in promoting emerging writers and emphasised that such events help preserve the literary culture of Kashmir.
A large number of literature lovers, students, social activists, and poets were present at the event. The function concluded with poetry recitations and discussions on the themes of the book.
