Suspected militants Wednesday attacked a police party near Pinjran area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The police retaliated however the militants managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of darkness.
One police constable was injured due to concertina wire. He was given first aid and is said to be fine now.
When contacted SSP Shopian said that the said policeman has not received any bullet injury.
The hunt has been launched to nab the militants.
