Following the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raid on the residence of advocate Mohammad Shafi Reshi at Baghat, Kashmir High Court Bar Association on Wednesday staged a protest in the premises of the State High Court in Srinagar against the raids.
The NIA early today conducted raids on at least twelve places in Kashmir including the residence of Reshi, who is a Bar member and also associated with Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani.
The protesting lawyers called the NIA raids as illegal and unwarranted.
