A short film, Hardouk Ooush-Tears of autumn, directed by a young boy from Srinagar has been selected for internationa film festival Spain.
Wasaf Jeelani, 24, is writer and director of the film. It was produced by Vivek Budakoti and Rajita Sharna under the banner of Magic Lantern Productions.
The short movie is said to be inspired from Anton Chekhov’s short story Misery. Wasaf said his movie aims “to present a perspective on forced disappearances in Kashmir.”
