SRINAGAR: A delegation from the Traders Association of Lal Chowk, led by President Mohammad Iqbal Khan and including members Tahir Ahmad Bawan and Jatinder Singh held a meeting with the Commissioner of Sales Tax for Jammu and Kashmir, P K Bhat. The meeting aimed to discuss pressing issues affecting the region’s traders and merchants.
Central to the discussions was the taxation structure currently in place and its implications for local businesses. The delegation sought clarification regarding recent amendments to the tax policy, expressing concerns about the burden of compliance on traders.
