Protests and complete shutdown is being observed in Qaimoh Kulgam and its adjacent areas against the alleged excesses of government forces.
As per eyewitnesses, hundreds of youth are on road and have blocked main Anantnag Kulgam road at Qaimoh and are not allowing any vehicle to move.
As per locals forces allegedly came yesterday late night without any provocation into Rampora village, thrashed inmates and damaged private property.
Locals added that forces beated the family of Tawseef sheikh, a local militant, to pulp and damaged windowpanes of their house.
