Cordon and search operation has been launched in Lajurah Pichal area of district Pulwama in south Kashmir.
A joint team of SOG, RR & CRPF have cordoned-off the area after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
Earlier cordon was launched in Wagal village of Tral and Nillow village of Kulgam.
Search operation at Wagad village ended without any positive results for security forces.
However, in Nillow Kulgam clashes had erupted sooon after the search operation was launched.
