Clashes have erupted between youth and government forces near the encounter site in Tral, sources said.
Two militants have been killed in the ongoing encounter in Wantiwen forest area of Tral, police said.
According to reports, clashes erupted in Satura, Bus stand Tral amid a complete shutdown in the area.
During the clashes, at least six protesters were injured.
The encounter had started early morning today, between government forces and militants after a joint team of Army’s 42 RR and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police, cordoned off Gujar Basti in Wantiwen forests of Satora village.
Meanwhile, mobile Internet services have been snapped as a “precautionary measure”.
