This prestigious event is set to be held in Raigad, Maharashtra, from September 26 to December 29, 2024.

The trials were overseen by key officials from the J&K Sports Council, including Senior Manager Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, who served as the observer for the selection process. A total of 25 female athletes from across the region participated in the trials, showcasing their skills and competitive spirit. After thorough evaluation, the selection committee chose 15 talented players to represent J&K at the national championship.

The selected players will now undergo a rigorous residential coaching camp, set to begin on November 12 and run until December 2, 2024, at Gindun Sports Stadium. The camp aims to sharpen the players’ skills and prepare them physically and mentally for the national competition. Following the camp, a final screening test will be held on December 3, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the same venue, under the supervision of the J&K Sports Council.

As part of the selection process, all players are required to report to Gindun Sports Stadium on the specified date, bringing their age proof certificates and two passport-sized photographs for verification.

The successful completion of the selection trials marks an important step in J&K’s preparation for the upcoming Senior National Championship, and the selected athletes are expected to represent the region with pride and determination at the national level.
