Pakistani and Indian forces exchanged gunfire in Shahpur sector of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, reports said.
According to the reports exchange of gunfire continued for two hours in the wee hours of Friday.
Sources said that small and automatic arms were used in the cross-border firing. However, there is no report of any causality or injury.
