J&K Assembly today approved the resolution to extend the GST to the state.
The resolution was approved with voice vote as opposition NC and Congress protested in the assembly.
The assembly during its special session adopted the new law after finance minister Dr. Haseeb Drabu assured and pronounced ‘safeguards’ for the fiscal and political autonomy of the state.
