The Policeman who was critically injured in the attack has been referred to Srinagar for specialised treatment. Earlier it was reported that the policeman had succumbed to his injuries.
However, the police later clarified that the policeman Gulam Hassan of IRP16 Bn was referred to Srinagar in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the lady who was injured in the attack has been identified as Sumit Kaur of Chatti SinghPora, Anantnag.
