Clashes erupted in Reshi Bazar Anantnag after Friday prayers against the killing of a civilian in Kakapora, Pulwama, sources said.
According to the reports, the youth took to the streets to protest against the killing of a civilian in the Kakapora Pulwama during an encounter between Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT )militants.
Three LeT militants and a teenage civilian were killed during the encounter. Teenager Shariq was killed during the clashes with the security forces near the encounter site.
Pertinently, Joint Hurriyat Leadership has given a protest call post-Friday prayers against the civilian killings.
