Srinagar: Weatherman on Friday forecast “generally” dry weather with brief spell of Rain or thundershower at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir on weekend.
A meteorological department official here said that while generally weather is expected on Saturday and Sunday, generally cloudy skies with possibility of light to moderate Rain and thundershowers are expected at many places on September 2 and 3.
On September 4-6, he said, generally dry weather is expected while “a spell of light to moderate rain mainly over Jammu division” has been forecast on September 7-8.
The department while issuing advisory amid incessant rains in J&K parts warned of flash floods, landslides, mudslides and shooting stones over few vulnerable places.
It also said that water logging in few low lying areas may take place.
