Additionally, IGNOU has introduced certificate programmes in areas such as Event Management and Early Childhood Special Education, focusing on enabling inclusion for children with hearing impairment, visual impairment, and intellectual disabilities.
Dr. A.H. Rizvi, Regional Director of IGNOU’s Srinagar Regional Center, highlighted the university’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible and flexible educational opportunities to learners across the Kashmir Division, including the UT of Ladakh. He emphasized that these new programmes reflect IGNOU’s dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment that caters to a wide spectrum of academic and professional needs.
In response to the overwhelming demand and to accommodate potential learners who were unable to complete their admission formalities within the initially announced timeline, IGNOU has extended the deadline for admissions to its various programmes for the ongoing academic session. This extension applies to all certificate, diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and master’s programmes offered by the university.
Prospective students who wish to enroll in the ongoing academic session now have until August 31, 2024, to submit their application forms online. Dr. Rizvi urged interested candidates to take advantage of this extended deadline, which provides an additional opportunity for those who may have faced challenges or delays in completing their applications earlier.
For further inquiries or assistance, prospective students are encouraged to contact the IGNOU Regional Center in Srinagar or visit the official websites ignou.ac.in or rcsrinagar.ignou.ac.in.
