SRINAGAR: The My Youth My Pride District Srinagar Ball Badminton Championship, organized by the District Srinagar Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, successfully concluded at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar, on August 16 and 17, 2024.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools, clubs, institutes, and colleges, with nearly 160 players from District Srinagar competing in the championship.
Mohammad Iqbal, Incharge/Manager at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar, was the Chief Guest. Abdul Rashid, Ground Incharge at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar; Arsheena Khan, General Secretary of the J&K Ball Badminton Association; the Secretary of the District Srinagar Ball Badminton Association; and the Vice President of the Ball Badminton Federation of India were the Guests of Honour. They distributed medals and certificates among the winners and runners-up of the event and encouraged the players for their exceptional talent.
