Army on Thursday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowgam sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, reports said.
According to the Army official two militants were killed after troops foiled an infiltration bid in Nowgam sector. A soldier was also killed in the operation, he said.
The operation was going on, when the last reports came in.
