Due to escalation of tension between India and Pakistan along the Line Of Control, nearly 50 trucks remained stranded at the Salamabad trade centre due to lack of clearance from the Authorities of Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PaK).
A senior official said that they are pursuing clearance with PaK Authorities adding that matter could become clear by late afternoon. On Monday cross-LoC bus service was suspended as Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged firing.
For the past one week, constant pounding along LoC has resulted into casualties from both sides.
