PAMPORE: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pulwama unit organized a rally and booth meeting for Pulwama district workers at Patalbagh Pampore. The meeting was chaired by the district president, Mohammad Latif Bhat. BJP general secretary Mohammad Shafi Wani, DDC member Dadsara Avatar Singh, and other leaders, along with a substantial number of workers, participated in the event.
During the programme, District President Pulwama accused the National Conference, PDP and Congress, stating that these parties have been responsible for creating unrest in Jammu and Kashmir.
“These parties have only used the youth for their vote bank, but the Bharatiya Janata Party will prioritize providing employment opportunities for the youth instead of making false promises,” he said.
Bhat reiterated that development and employment are the top priorities and agenda of the BJP.
“Due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a peaceful atmosphere has been created in Jammu and Kashmir apart from the rest of the country, which is why we have organized a road show rally from sensitive areas like Samboora today,” he said.
Latif said that today, a meeting was also held in Patalbagh by the BJP unit in Pulwama, attended only by booth residents. “The purpose of this meeting is the upcoming voting on the 13th, and we have urged everyone to come out on the 13th and vote for the BJP candidate to ensure their success,” he said.
The BJP leader added, “We stand against three families: the National Conference, PDP, and Congress. Their shops have closed; they want to continue their family rule, but we will not allow it. They want to carry forward this dynastic rule. Look at Umar Abdullah’s son campaigning in North Kashmir today, while Mehbooba’s daughter Iltija Mufti is campaigning in South Kashmir. They want to take the dynastic rule forward, but we will not let that happen. People should come out on the 13th and vote against these traditional politicians.”
