Clashes erupted between government forces and students in Government Degree College Kulgam.
According to the sources, 20 students were injured, when forces fired pellets and teargas shells towards the students.
Eyewitnesses said that senior journalist Tanveer Ahmad Wani also injured in Kulgam as he received pellet injury in his eye.
Sources said that the injured were shifted to the hospital and their condition is stable.
Meanwhile, clashes also erupted in Dangerpora area of Anantnag district after forces allegedly thrashed shopkeepers in the area.
