PAMPORE: Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Pampore organised the first National Lok Adalat of 2024 at the Munsiff Court Complex Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
The bench was presided over by Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore Touseef Ahmad Magray (Munciff JMIC Pampore) and bench member Advocate Bashir Ahmad Malik.
“In accordance with the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority calendar plan for March 2024, Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore organised the first National Lok Adalat for the Amicable settlement of pre-litigation and post-litigation cases,” officials told Kashmir Reader.
The aforementioned National Lok Adalat was held at the Munsiff Court Complex Pampore under the supervision of Chairman TLSC Pampore Touseef Ahmad Magrey Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Pampore.
The primary objective of the said National Lok Adalat was to provide a platform for amicable solutions to disputes, aiming to reduce the burden on the regular court system and streamline the justice delivery process
Overall various cases of different natures were considered and after due consideration various cases were amicably settled, and resolved through the intervention of the bench.
Lok Adalats contribute to the overall efficiency of the legal system and enhance public trust in the administration of justice.
Several senior and junior advocates of Bar Association Pampore and other officials were also present on the occasion.
