Awantipora: Faza Zainab, a 2022 alumna of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, IUST Awantipora, has been recognized as the Outstanding Media Person by the Jammu and Kashmir Administration on the eve of Republic Day 2024.
Prof Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, congratulating the awardee, said that hard work and dedication are hallmarks of success. He wished Faza best for her future endeavours.
Dr. Mujeeb Liyakat, Head DJMC, said that her dedication to reporting and insightful storytelling have set a benchmark for aspiring media professionals.
“As an alumna, Faza continues to inspire current and future students of the department to pursue excellence in the dynamic and challenging realm of media and journalism. Faza has earned her Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from IUST,” the university said in a statement.
