A civilian was injured after an Army patrol party of 44 RR opened fire in Manloo village of Shopian district after suspecting some suspicious movement in the area, police sources said.
They said that the injured civilian has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Teeli.
He has been shifted to Shopian hospital for treatment.
