BARAMULLA: SSP Sopore Shabir Nawab visited Government Boys High School Baba Yousuf Bagh Rehmat Sopore and interacted with students. He also distributed clothing kits under Civic Action Programme.
The event was attended by SDPO Sopore Shri Dr. Raies Ahmad-JKPS, DySP PC Sopore Shri Syeed Gazanffar and Inspector Zia ul Rehman.
On the occasion, SSP Sopore stressed upon the students to take their studies seriously for better and successful future. He said that everyone should take part in sports activities as it helps to boost self-confidence, concentration, physical as well as mental health. The students should make optimum use of time and channelize their energy in the right direction, he added.
In Addition, Sopore Police in its attempt to promote and support educational activities for the orphans and students hailing from under privileged class as well as to build good Police-Public relations, SSP Sopore under the aegis of “Civic Action Programme” distributed 51 Clothing Kits among the students.
Later, the Headmaster of the school along with the school staff and students showed extraordinary enthusiasm and applauded the role of police for arranging and providing such facilities in order to boost their morale.
