SKUAST-K win their opening match by 7 wickets
SRINAGAR: SKUAST-Kashmir registered a comprehensive seven wicket win over MANUU- Hyderabad in their inaugural match of All India Vice Chancellor’s Cricket Cup T20 tournament match played at Hissar, Haryana.
Batting first MANUU-Hyderabad was bundled out on a paltry total of 81 runs in the 18th over.
For SKUAST-Kashmir Abdul Majeed was the pick of the bowlers claiming three wickets. Sameer and Aijaz bagged two wickets each.
The fielding of SKUAST-K team was appreciable and two run-outs and good catches did justify the same.
SKUAST-K completed the chase by scoring 85 runs for the loss of three wickets in only 13th overs. Sameer and Wasif scored 26 runs each.
