SRINAGAR: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bandipora organized pulse pea seed distribution programme at sumlar
village under Cluster Frontline Demonstration programme. Dr Tariq Sultan Programme Coordinator KVK Bandipora highlighted the role of pulses in the human diet and also gave details on scientific
cultivation of pulse pea. Dr Nazir Ahmad Mir, Subject Matter Specialist Animal Science deliberated on the importance of farm yard manure on soil health. Quality pulse pea seed was distributed among seventy farmers of the village to boost up production of pulses and to improve nutritional security.
