Pattan: A suspected IED was found on Srinagar-Baramulla Highway at Pattan by a joint team of forces was defused on Wednesday.
An official said that the IED was spotted by the Road Opening Party of Army’s 29 RR along Srinagar- Baramulla highway.
He said that the IED was later defused by bomb disposal squad and traffic movement along the highway was also restored.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
