GANDERBAL: The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Ganderbal, Bilal Mukhtar today convened a meeting at Block Headquarter here to review the overall functioning of the department in Kangan Sub Division.
During the meeting threadbare discussion was held on the progress of various ongoing development works and progress achieved in various welfare schemes available with Rural Development Department in the Sub Division.
While reviewing the progress of works, the thrust was put on timely work completion, timely payment of wages and personday generation.
The meeting also reviewed the release of payment, and ACD directed BDO to ensure that the first instalment is released at an earliest. Moreover, thrust was also laid on other schemes like CD & Panchayat, BTV3 and work progress on BDC building.
