Six injured by stray dogs in Uri

Baramulla:Six people including a woman were attacked and injured by a pack of stray dogs in Duwaran village of border town Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday morning.
Locals said that a pack of stray dogs attacked several people, one by one, at Duwaran village on Thursday morning and injured at least eight people of which five were taken to sub-district hospital Uri. Two of them were referred to Baramulla for further treatment.
The injured people were identified as Haji Mohamamad Ashraf, Arbaz Ahmed, Dawood Ahmed, Amana Bano, Binyamin and Tanjeet Ahmad.
Local residents said that stray dogs have created terror in Uri over the past few months, attacking and injuring many people.
