SRINAGAR: Police held a counselling- cum-interaction session with a group of youth along with community members which included their parents, at police station Sadder. The meeting was chaired by SP City South Zone Dr G V Sundeep along with SDPO Sadder Shabir Khan, JKPS & SHO Sadder, a police spokesperson said in a statement.
During the interactive session, the youth were properly counselled as a part of community outreach programme. During the interaction, the youth were counselled and advised to focus on their studies and channelise their energy in positive direction so that they evolve as better citizens of the state who will be committed to the welfare of our society, he said.
These youth and their parents have assured that they will cooperate and will focus on their career progression, the spokesperson said, adding that the community members have appreciated the role of police. The youth had indulged in mischievous and other nuisance activities around the residential areas in Sanant Nagar locality, the police spokesperson said.
