Bar supports probe into Morsi’s death

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Srinagar on Tuesday said it supports the demand made by the International Lawyers Association and United Nations Human Rights Council for conducting an international probe into the death of former President of Egypt, Mohammad Morsi.
The statement said: In an Executive Committee meeting held here on Tuesday, it was stated that since the death of Morsi occurred while he was in custody, therefore it was a clear case of custodial killing.
“Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a probe into his death by any international independent agency so that the guilty is punished,” it added.
