Stray dogs bite many in Narvaw Baramulla

Baramulla: A pack of stray dogs bit more than a dozen people in Narvaw valley of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
Local sources said a pack of stray dogs roaming in the area bit several people including women and children in Fatehgrah, Sheeri, Zandfarn, Zogiyar, Hewan and in other villages. Some of the injured were shifted to Baramulla hospital for treatment, while others were treated at public health centre Sheeri.
The victims alleged that shortage of anti-rabies vaccines across the district forces patients to purchase expensive medicines from open market.
