ML hails release of Assadullah Parray

Srinagar: Muslim League Sunday hailed the government’s decision to release its district president Bandipora, Assadullah Parray after a detention of five years.
According to a statement, the spokesperson said, “The way Parray stood firm on right path is a living example that no detention can cow down our sentiments.”
He praised the steadfastness of Parray.
“Delhi is suffering from the arrogance of power,” he said, “and has tried its best to muzzle our voice by arrests and all other tactics but has utterly failed to do so. No power on earth can deter us from our much-cherished goal of right to self-determination.”
He demanding release of all prisoners in and outside the state, who according to him have been falsely implicated.
“New Delhi should accept ground reality in Kashmir before it is too late to mend the situation,” he added.
He further said that a party delegation visited Hajin Bandipora and welcomed the release of Assadullah Parray and also stressed upon international human rights organisation’s to play their role for the early release of all the prisoners languishing in different jails.
