According a statement, he said, “Our youth are leaving their homes, relatives and shining careers for the grace and glory of nation and Ummah and offering supreme sacrifices of their lives. We as a mature nation need to understand the importance of these huge and sacred sacrifices and should renew our pledge to continue the march till the goal is achieved,”
While condemning the killing of civilian Rayees Ahmad Dar, he said that “forces laced with unbridled powers and impunity under the cover of black laws are killing Kashmiris whenever and wherever they wish to, as has been witnessed in the last seven decades.”
Ganai said that Delhi is suffering from the arrogance of power and “has tried its best to muzzle our voice but has utterly failed to do so, and no power on earth can deter us from our much-cherished goal of right to self-determination”.
The ML appealed to the international human rights organizations to take serious notice HR violations in Kashmir.
Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) spokesperson in a statement said: “Kashmiri people are continuously being murdered even in the ongoing month of Ramadan on one pretext or the other. Some are being killed for taking part in protests and other are being killed for taking arms, even many more are killed in the garb of cross firings. Fact of the matter is that Indian occupation is proving detrimental for Kashmiri people who have been demanding for their political rights since decades together.”
“It is unfortunate that India is hell-bent to take forward its unprincipled policy about Kashmir despite the fact that it has failed and failed miserably. It is the duty of Indian civil society to stress upon its political leadership to stop killings in Kashmir and initiate a political process aimed at resolving the long pending dispute. This only can end the ongoing bloodshed and bring stability in the whole region,” he added.
“…New Delhi has tried character assassination campaign against the resistance leaders like Shabir Shah but it has also failed and people living in Kashmir are steadfastly following the ways of resistance of leaders like Shabir Shah,” he said.
